Langalot makes learning a foreign language easier and faster.

Search for words and sentences

No more antiquated thumbing through a dictionary every time you don't know a word (which happens a lot!).

With Langalot, you search for a word or phrase like you search for stuff on the web. It's fast and powerful.

Virtual flashcards

Any word or sentence on Langalot can be saved. Once it is saved, it is a virtual flashcard in the system, ready for you to study.

Learning

You can study the definitions (see the word in the language you are learning and learn what it means in your language), translations (see the word in your language and learn the equivalent word in the language you are learning), gender of nouns, and sentences.

In study mode, you are shown words using a sophisticated modified-SRS algorithm. If that doesn't mean anything to you, don't worry! The basic idea is that as you learn a word or sentence, you see it less frequently. New words or words that you are having trouble with show up more frequently.
